The Town of Altamont contracts with an outside waste management company to provide reliable solid waste collection. To maintain community health and cleanliness, garbage collection is required for all residents and businesses within town limits.

Service Guidelines

Most trash and debris can be disposed of at the curb during your regular service days, provided items are properly bundled or contained. * For pickup schedules or missed trash: Please contact the waste management company directly at 435-722-1244.

Rates & Billing Structure

Billing is handled by different entities depending on the type of service and the number of containers you have.

Residential Service Rates

Note: Your first can is bundled with your water and sewer charges. Second can fees and initial deposits are handled separately by the Town.

Commercial Service

  • Dumpsters: All dumpster services are billed and managed directly by K&K Sanitation.
