Job Announcement: Part-Time School Crossing Guard

The Town of Altamont is hiring a dedicated individual for the role of School Crossing Guard. This vital position ensures the safety of our students as they travel to and from school.

Schedule: Approximately 1/2 hour before school and 1/2 hour after school, four days a week.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely guiding children across designated crosswalks.
• Controlling traffic flow to ensure pedestrian safety.
• Being a visible and friendly presence in the community.
